Summary:
The IT-Software Engineering Intern will participate in connecting internal systems and integrating with external partners and vendors. They will collaborate with application teams across the organization to support data flows, troubleshoot integration issues, and contribute to building scalable, secure, and efficient interfaces. This role offers exposure to real-world enterprise systems and the opportunity to learn integration best practices in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

What you'll do:
- Learn and become proficient in the team’s core technologies, integration tools, and design patterns.
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of integration solutions that connect internal systems and external partners.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing integrations by troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Business Analysts, Application Owners, and external vendors—to understand integration requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Document integration processes, data flows, and technical specifications to support knowledge sharing and future scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings to gain exposure to enterprise development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- Must be junior or senior standing at the time of the internship
- Must be able to work full-time in Neenah, WI during the summer and potential opportunity to extend internship to work part-time during the school year.
- Must be a good communicator, a strong problem solver, and have keen attention to detail.
- Must have experience with object-oriented languages such as C#, Java, Python, C++.
- An introductory understanding of integration concepts (REST, JSON, SOAP, XML) is helpful.
