Job Summary:
Head Coaches must create a living Purpose Statement which will be the foundation of their program. Head Coaches must also instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. Also provide instruction that will lead to the formulation of acceptable values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and self-confidence.

Qualifications:
Prefer Minnesota teaching and coaching certification.
Prefer employment as a teacher in the Farmington School District.
Previous coaching experience in assigned sport is desirable.
Has knowledge and background in the assigned sport

Nominal Stipend:
Tiger Athletic, Arts, and Activities (TAAA) matrix, Column A.
The stipend amount is considered a “nominal stipend”. The amount of the stipend will not change based on the number of daily hours that are devoted to coaching/advisor duties or the team’s level of success. If team enrollment is not met, the district may make staffing reductions that reflect program level offerings within the first two weeks of the program. Any service provided during this two week timeframe will be paid on a weekly pro-rated basis. In addition, if the selected candidate is unable to fulfill coaching/advising duties for five or more days, the stipend paid will be pro-rated.
