What You'll Do

As a Banquet Captain, you’ll bring leadership, organization, and enthusiasm to every event by:

• Supervising banquet service operations and ensuring events run smoothly from setup to breakdown.

• Leading and motivating banquet servers to provide warm, professional, and attentive service.

• Reviewing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate setup, timing, and service standards.

• Conducting pre-event team meetings to review details, timelines, and guest expectations.

• Assisting with food and beverage service during events to maintain quality and timing.

• Collaborating with the Food & Beverage Manager, Culinary, and Setup teams to exceed guest expectations.

• Completing post-event reports, handling payments, and ensuring guest feedback is recorded.

• Maintaining organization, cleanliness, and inventory control for all banquet equipment and supplies.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3–5 years of banquet server experience; 2 years in a leadership or captain role.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

• Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems (MICROS, Delphi) preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on varied surfaces.

• Frequent lifting/carrying of up to 30 lbs; occasional bending, reaching, or pushing carts.

• Ability to remain active and engaged during long event shifts.
