- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates issued in conformance with the American Red Cross recommendations and guidelines for CPR, First Aid and emergency care - A Valid California Driver's License (or be in the process of obtaining) - High School Diploma/equivalent or higher - Police Officers Standards and Training (POST) PC832 Certificate - SB 390 School Security Officer Certificate DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION: - Previous experience with youth groups or organizations: gang awareness or knowledge.

TESTING: Qualified applicants will be scheduled for testing and notified of the scheduled date via email. - All District Safety Officers must take and pass a physical agility test. The testing will be tentatively scheduled by 11/28/25. The interviews will be tentatively scheduled by 12/7/25. Note: All District Safety Officers are subject to a background check, including a polygraph exam.
