Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead multiple commercial and federal electrical construction projects from start to finish. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, a solid understanding of federal contracting requirements (FAR, DFARS, etc.), and the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively. This is a safety sensitive position.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of electrical projects.
- Manage field teams, subcontractors, and project staff with strong, people-first leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with federal contract terms, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Prepare and review submittals, RFPs, change orders, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, GCs, engineers, and government representatives.
- Maintain cost control, forecast labor and materials, and track project profitability.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience managing teams and leading electrical projects.
- Proven success in commercial and federal construction environments.
- Strong understanding of federal contracts, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g.,Accubid, Heavy bid, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.
- O1 Electrical license preferred
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
