The Impact You'll Make

 

As our Material Handler – Driver, you’ll play a key role in keeping Danfoss operations running smoothly by ensuring materials are safely, accurately, and efficiently moved between warehouses, production areas, and shipping locations

Your impact? You’ll help maintain the steady flow of materials that keeps our manufacturing lines supplied and our customers’ orders fulfilled on time. Through your attention to detail, safe driving, and organization, you’ll help ensure inventory accuracy and support a clean, efficient, and safe workplace

You’ll collaborate closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams—along with external carriers—to ensure materials arrive where they’re needed, when they’re needed, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable future.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Safely drive a company truck to transport materials between warehouse and building locations. 

     

  • Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles in compliance with safety standards. 

     

  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement, inventory levels, and material transfers to support reliable cycle counts and FIFO practices. 

     

  • Support shipping and receiving activities, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating with carriers such as UPS, DHL, FedEx, and LTL freight providers. 

     

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all quality and environmental procedures.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. 

  • Experience: At least 1–3 months of related experience or training in warehouse, material handling, or logistics operations. 

  • Safety Commitment: Ability to operate and maintain certification for forklifts and other material-handling equipment in accordance with Danfoss policies. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to support collaboration and accurate documentation. 

  • Teamwork & Reliability: Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.



Preferred Qualifications 

  • Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). 

  • One to two years of warehouse experience. 

  • Familiarity with ERP inventory management systems. 

  • Experience coordinating with third-party logistics or rail providers.
