We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Data Science & Analytics to join our Marketing team. This role will be pivotal in creating and implementing a data and analytics strategy that step changes business impact and supports smart decisions in marketing, pricing, and business strategy.  The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in designing, implementing and owning complex data and analytics programs.

 

  1. Leverages advanced analytics to help identify and optimize key business drivers to support the most critical business questions in business strategy, marketing, pricing and communications                     
  2. Mines existing and external data systems to identify and help prioritize white space and growth opportunities                                                                
  3. Envisions, develops, and implements models to support Where To Play choices by company management                                                                
  4. Identifies data and capability gaps and sets vision for how to address these gaps                                                                 
  5. Builds relationships with cross functional leaders to influence and drive action based on analytics findings and recommendations                                                                        
  6. Able to simplify complex information in clear visual ways                                                                       
  7. Stays updated with the latest trends and advancements in marketing data science and marketing analytics and tests emerging methodologies                                                                          
  8. Manages and optimizes relevant systems and data processes                                                                            

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data science and/or analytics
  • Ability to create actionable recommendation based on model outcomes and analytics
  • Experience building marketing effectiveness models, price elasticity, consumer segmentation, or similar
  • Experience and expertise with data and analytics software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SPSS, SAS, DOMO etc).
  • Experience working with consumer offtake data (internal POS, syndicated data from NielsenIQ, Circana).
