Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for the FieldConnect platform.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and integrations with the Spectrum ERP system.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and synchronization issues between FieldConnect, mobile devices, and ERP data.
- Coordinate with the vendor and internal teams for issue resolution, upgrades, and deployments.
- Support field technicians and office staff with FieldConnect access and usage issues.
- Prepare and configure new Windows laptops and desktops using Microsoft Intune and company standard images.
- Create and manage user accounts in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Conduct IT onboarding sessions for new hires to introduce systems and ensure security compliance.
- Maintain inventory and lifecycle records for all hardware and peripherals.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage distribution lists, security groups, shared mailboxes, and licensing.
- Support Intune device management, app deployment, and compliance policy enforcement.
- Manage and secure mobile devices through Apple Business Manager and Intune MDM (iPhones and iPads).
- Support endpoint protection and monitoring using CrowdStrike Falcon and Microsoft Defender.
- Assist with onboarding newly acquired business units by integrating user accounts, devices, and data into the corporate Microsoft 365 and security environment.
- Enforce company IT policies including MFA, device compliance, and acceptable use.
- Collaborate with senior IT and security leadership to identify and remediate vulnerabilities or non-compliant systems.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 3+ years of hands-on IT support, systems administration, or endpoint management experience.
- Experience administering FieldConnect or similar field service management systems (e.g., ServiceTitan, Viewpoint).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration (Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID).
- Familiarity with endpoint security tools (CrowdStrike preferred).
- Experience enrolling and managing iOS mobile devices through Apple Business Manager and Intune MDM.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and collaboratively across distributed teams.
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. for short integration or support trips (typically 2–4 times per year).
- Preferred certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
- Any Intune or MDM-related certification
