A Day in the Life
As a Vendor Compliance Specialist, you will play an important part in the Vendor Compliance team by monitoring vendor compliances and ensuring all policies and procedures of vendors are followed during the key stages of NRI’s onboarding processes. You’ll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.
What does success look like in this role?
The ideal candidate has effective communication and interaction across all levels of the organization including clients’ to successfully complete onboarding presentations. This person must have the ability to train team members in vendor compliance processes. They must be comfortable working independently but also embrace collaboration and working within a dynamic, positive, and energetic team.

Pay:
$27 /HR - $35/HR
Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
All About You
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- Extensive knowledge with Retail Compliance Guidelines, Offset Expenses and SSCC-128 barcode label format their requirements per Retail business practice
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience is a must
- Must be a high-compliant and accurate individual
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to quickly assimilate an understanding of business operations with experience in developing and improving internal compliance standards
- Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests)
The Must Haves:
- 3+ years of client/customer services experience in warehouse or transportation environment, 3PL and logistics experience a plus
- A bachelor's degree in business, Logistics or related field preferred
- Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse
Things You Will be Doing
- Maintains communication during the key stages of NRI’s onboarding processes with our awesome clients
- Maintains shipping guides for label placement and pallet requirements based on Retail Compliance Guidelines
- Create Retail Compliance Guidelines summaries
- Create reports based on business needs
- Ensures and maintains that NRI has the most recent Retail Vendor Compliance guides
- Following NRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition always
- Performs other duties as requested
