Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking an expert Senior Business Systems Analyst to provide strategic leadership in the collection, capture, and management of mission user needs, focusing on improved usability and enterprise adoption. This role requires expert-level proficiency in SAFe Agile and business analysis methodologies, providing consultation on complex projects, and driving requirements gathering that considers the business implications of technology application across the enterprise.

Senior Business Systems Analyst Job Duties: 

• Lead collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development.

• Facilitate the gathering of business-focused requirements to support product teams and product owners.

• Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption.

• Identify core business needs and decompose/document them in concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories.

• Document business rules and construct workflow diagrams as needed.

• Provide consultation on complex projects while considering business implications of technology application.

• Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.

• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional requirements.

• Conduct project meetings and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Security Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying and be able to pass a polygraph examination.

Experience Requirements: Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis or a related field. Candidates must have experience with the SAFe Agile framework, a strong understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements, and demonstrated experience with enterprise application rollout and adoption.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Desired Skills / Qualifications: Expert-level proficiency with SAFe Agile framework and practices, business analysis methodologies, requirements management systems, project planning and execution, risk management and mitigation strategies, and stakeholder management is essential. Experience with data analysis and visualization, enterprise application architecture, multi-enclave environments, change management, and DevSecOps practices is also highly desirable.

Location: On-site in Chantilly, VA

Status: Full time

Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
