Summary of the Position
This position assembles finished goods and subassemblies to Valcom specifications using a variety of hand tools and equipment in a team environment on a manufacturing line. Ensure that all parts fit correctly and finished products operate as expected.
Essential Functions

- Assembles products according to Valcom specifications by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies using hand tools and/or automated equipment
- Read and comprehend basic models, basic diagrams, and follow established procedures to accurately assemble products
- Identify and report any product defects or issues
- Perform quality inspections to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Performs duties within quality and safety guidelines
- Contributes to team efforts and daily production goals by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Proper use of PPE as required.
- Performs other duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position
Required Skills/Abilities
- Flexibility to cross-train on various assembly lines within the department.
- Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift, lift to 20lbs, bend and stoop, and effectively operate hand tools as needed.
- Thoroughness in completing tasks, ensuring accuracy and precision while timely completing work.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and instructions from supervisors.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to build positive relationships and achieve common goals.
- Proper use and maintenance of safety gear and equipment, and adherence to safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed
- Ability to cross-train in other areas as assigned.
