General Operator 2 (ATS) (1st shift) na Vertiv Group Corporation

• Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal.
• Must possess a full understanding of all aspects of Switchgear wiring and wiring schematics.
• Must possess a mechanical understanding of how to complete a backplate layout.
• Effectively communicate with team members and deliver clear/precise information on the production floor and classroom environment when required. 
• Work closely with department Lead Operators and department Quality Control Technicians to revise and develop company SOP’s. 
• Take an active lead to ensure the health and safety guidelines are followed during training of wiring process and correct PPE is worn at all times. 
• Provide updates regularly to Lead Operators and the Production Manager on all new and existing team members progression. 
• Work closely with all team members to promote and improve the quality of all switchgear wiring aspects. 
• Willingness to assume the role of an operator to cover personnel gaps whenever needed.
• Arrange the training area to optimal efficiency.
• Greet all new hires upon arrival for orientation and for a duration of 1 week.
• Walk each new hire through the SOPs ensuring that they understand all aspects of the tasks that they will be asked to complete. 
• Complete 5s Training. 

Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 years wiring experience within the Switchgear Department is required
• Organized with close attention to detail
• PC Skills- Word, Excel & Power Point (High Level proficiency)
• Multitask and maintain a variety of projects
• Previous trainer, team lead, or management experience is a plus. 
• Previous First Responder preferred. 
• Strong public speaking skills
