Overview:

The Sales Assistant will handle a variety of clerical/administrative duties for the sales managers and sales reps in a very fast-paced environment. Will assist customers, interact with other departments to research/resolve problems, do some data entry, prepare reports, help with special projects, run errands, and help where needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry.
  • Prepare Reports.
  • Update managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history.
  • Resolve promotional pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices; forwarding resolution to managers.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplish department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Help with special projects as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma (some college. Business school preferred)

 

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

  • Data Entry Skills.
  • Reporting Skills.
  • Administrative Writing Skills.
  • Customer Focus.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Prior customer-related office or sales experience.
  • Good organizational and communication skills, and good PC/data entry skills.
  • Must also have a high energy level, be able to remain calm handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
