We are in search of a Claims Transformation Execution Lead to join our team as we strive for the continuous evolution of our digital products and advance our transformation across claims. This individual, reporting to the AVP, Claims Transformation Execution Lead, will be responsible for advancing critical initiatives across our North America portfolio, managing project plans and timelines, developing new measurement approaches, and leading strategic work focused on driving the greatest business value. The Claims Transformation Execution Lead will be responsible for providing support across the claims’ portfolio, tracking and creating executive leadership updates and measuring impact of our initiatives. 

This role will partner closely with squads, Claims data and business teams to enable collaboration and decision making. Communication, self-organization and management skills are key for the successful execution of daily activities within a dynamic environment receptive to new ideas and trends. In addition to the skills described, this individual will possess a strong financial and technical acumen, having worked closely with financial statements and engineering teams within an agile framework. Insurance industry experience is a plus, as this role will be engaged in projects spanning a variety of business line segments within the Claims Transformation portfolio.

This role can operate from any of the following Chubb offices: New York, NY, Whitehouse Station or Jersey City, NJ, Chicago, Il and Philadelphia, PA. 

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Support on going multi-year strategy of Claims Transformation, including support of specific initiatives and creation of leadership updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations and Technology to manage work and ensure priorities are driving highest value
  • Partner with Product Owners to understand requirements and with technology to understand cost /effort of implementation
  • Help develop quarterly deployment plan, understanding capacity and highest priority deliverables for the quarter
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of claims operational and financial reporting metrics and FP&A activities (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis)
  • Ensure that all initiatives are strategically aligned with the overall business objectives and financial goals of the company, demonstrating clear business value
  • Leverage business intelligence tools such as Power BI and aggregate data from multiple sources to develop insights and propose solutions
  • Analyze complex business challenges, identify opportunities for operational efficiency and implement solutions that align with business goals
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and act as a central point of contact ensuring all stakeholders are engaged, informed and accountable through out the lifecycle of the project. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in insurance, claims, product ownership, strategic execution, finance or business intelligence.
  • Ability to identify and clearly summarize business issues and clearly communicate the potential drivers 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Highly effective analytical/problem solving and research skills
  • Inherent desire to research new data sources and reporting methodologies
  • Ability to maintain progress on multiple tasks and adjust quickly to meet business priorities
  • Highly effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to liaise between highly technical staff in IT and analytics and end-user business partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, business leaders, and external partners
  • Proficient with a variety of business intelligence tools (i.e. Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power Query and Power BI, SQL) 

 

 

The pay range for the role is $96,200 to $163,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website.  The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
