Position Summary:
The KAC / Clean Room Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of automatic door installation projects. Within both clean room and non-clean room environments, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and customer specifications. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in clean room protocols, and a deep understanding of automatic door systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Lead clean room door installation projects from initiation to completion.
- Support and manage high profile Key Account Customers in addition to clean room projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all installations meet ISO clean room standards and GMP requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain documentation for validation and regulatory compliance.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clean room clients.
- Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with all stake holders and sales team to align project goals with client needs.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise installation crews and ensure adherence to safety and clean room protocols.
- Provide training and guidance on clean room procedures and door system specifications.
- Maintain installation excellence with all Key Account customers and Team members.
- Budget & Cost Control
- Provide pre-bid feedback to support sales costing and pricing.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs without compromising quality.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage change orders effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience in project management and P&L ownership.
- Strong knowledge of automatic door systems (sliding, swing, etc.).
- Familiarity with clean room classifications and standards.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel to job sites, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and semiconductor facilities.
- Work in controlled environments requiring PPE and adherence to jobsite requirements.
- Occasional evening or weekend work based on project demands.
