SUMMARY

Supervisors oversee all front of house operations and back of house operations and assists with back of house operations when needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and promote solid guest and employee relations through prompt and courteous service.
  2. Responsible for handling customer complaints to insure customer satisfaction.
  3. Assists in daily presentation of food items in accordance with developed menu.
  4. Assists with scheduling of staff as needed to insure efficient guest service.
  5. Enforce performance standards including insuring staff are in proper uniform by monitoring front of house staff and servers on casino floor.
  6. Inspects all front of house equipment for cleanliness, operations, and safety. Report findings to Food and Beverage Manager.
  7. Insure that all staff keeps areas clean and sanitized at all times.
  8. Perform any front of house or kitchen positions as needed.
  9. Follow all company and departmental procedures and health regulations at all times.
  10. This position will require cross-training in both front and back of the house operations.
  11. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
  12. Facilitate the flow of information by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  13. All other departmental duties as assigned by immediate Managers and/or Food and Beverage Director.
  14. Model and provide prompt and courteous answers to all team members.
  15. Perform necessary tasks to service guests including but not limited to taking and filling food orders and assisting and maintaining dining areas.
  16. Will train, mentor and coach Baristas in all areas on our products and services.

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Must have at least three (3) to five (5) years of Supervisory experience in food service.
  3. Two (2) years of food service experience.
  4. Must obtain Safe Serve Certificate.
  5. Must be able to communicate in English including reading and writing.
  6. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
  7. Must be able to work in a fast environment.
  8. Noise level is low to moderate when in the kitchen.

 

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

  1. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand for entire shift, walk, sit and to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  2. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
  4. Environment is of high humidity with extreme temperatures.
  5. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  6. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.
  7. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
