What to expect

The Portfolio Information Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of our transformation programme by evaluating current portfolio information management, document control & management processes including storage, retention and access rights. Subsequently embedding of a consistent best practice approach to information management and document control, ensuring that organisational and regulatory requirements are met.

 

The role will work with a variety of stakeholders to agree a roadmap for any changes needed to improve the current document sharing process, identify any existing tooling that can be enhanced and work with various teams to deliver an agreed, phased roll-out plan that will aim deliver POLs new approach to document and information management.

 

Working with the systems and support manager they will lead the design and input into the implementation of any new document repository & knowledge management solution. They will also lead on developing a culture of knowledge sharing, including, internal programme communications and liaise with Corporate Communications to coordinate key programme messaging and communications.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
  • Experienced People Manager with proven experience collaborating with peers and senior managers, to contribute to the development of, and deliver, a functional communications strategy.
  • Significant document and information management and delivery experience.
  • Substantial experience in establishing successful, cross-functional, stakeholder and external supplier relationships.
  • Significant document and information management experience, in a large transformation programme including knowledge of principles and best practices
  • Proven experience in a PMO, Portfolio support, and management information role within a large complex transformation or change portfolio.
  • Knowledge of programme and project governance frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ideally some experience in using Confluence & Jira as supporting piece of document management software.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security and compliance requirements
  • Experience of waterfall & agile environments
