Individuals must have the ability to read and interpret high-level product requirements. Individuals contribute to design and implementation approaches based on those requirements and support system and sub-system requirements. Individuals will support the identification, creation, and execute product test cases throughout the development phases of a project or product. The candidate supports discussion with the cross-functional team members to provide a detailed safety design failure mode analysis of the entire system. The candidate should be knowledgeable in product life cycle, product designs, troubleshooting and will be involved in all aspects of the product development process (concept, design, verification, validation, and production). Candidates must have the ability to work on limited number of projects and functions as part of a global team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the development of fundamental structure of systems, system components, their relationships, and interfaces and the interface between the system and its external environment.
Evaluate safety critical systems’ requirements and document the requirements with the aid of requirements management tools.
Aligning the requirements decomposition activities with the system architecture, and support architecture analysis and trades.
Establish requirements based on VoC sessions, quality incident tickets, and technology improvements.
Support the development system boundaries, inputs/outputs, data flows, and capturing processing needs.
Contributing to system Verification/Validation testing to ensure full requirements coverage.
Contributing to Robust Design reviews including DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and product safety reviews.
Support a limited number of engineering projects or processes across engineering disciplines.
Performing difficult or complex engineering activities and creates standard work for common procedures.
Creating and implementing common procedures and standards for routine work across the organization.
Managing a component of large scale, complex, or significant engineering projects, from start to finish, so that each project completes on time and within budget.
Support customer documentation development.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of experience with system engineering
2 years’ experience in system engineering
Preferred Qualifications
ASEP/CSEP certification would be an added advantage.
Knowledgeable in System Architecture, UML, SysML, DFMEA, Pugh Matrix, Requirements Management, QFDs and related tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, Jira, Confluence, and Visio
Programming skills on C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or any development language is a plus.
Knowledge of KGS organization, processes, tools, programs, or systems strongly preferred.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
Must be willing to work out of an office in Hyderabad, India
Ability and availability to travel occasionally.
The candidate must be proficient in spoken and written English.
