We are looking for a talented Service Technician (m/w/d) – New Energy Solutions to join our team specializing in Service for our New Power Department in Gross-Gerau, Hessen, Germany with the primary place of work based in Frankfurt- Griesheim.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Performs on-site diagnostics and repairs on generators Fuel Cells and components, focusing on less complex issues to ensure minimal downtime for customers.
- Delivers exceptional customer service by engaging professionally and courteously, anticipating needs, and ensuring prompt attention to concerns.
- Utilizes specialized tools and follows procedures to accurately diagnose issues and complete repairs, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Conducts preventative maintenance on power generation Fuel Cell equipment according to schedules and standards, helping to extend equipment life and reliability.
- Escalates unresolved or complex issues to senior technicians or supervisors, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
- Completes all required documentation accurately, including service reports, timesheets, and warranty claims, supporting operational transparency and compliance.
- Maintains tools and service vehicle in clean and operational condition, ensuring readiness and professionalism in the field.
- Adheres to Health, Safety & Environmental policies, reporting any incidents or concerns to site management and supervisors to maintain a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Valid electrical work permit for Germany, ensuring legal compliance.
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting for quick issue resolution.
- Confident in MS Office for service documentation and reporting.
- Proficient in English.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
- Vocational diploma and valid electrical certification; apprenticeship as Power Generation/Electrical Technician preferred.
- Local driving permit and hands-on experience with power generation systems.
- Skilled in high and low voltage work.
- Strong background in customer service and technical support.
