SUMMARY            

The Table Games Dual Rate Dealer is responsible for dealing and/or supervising all assigned Table Games including but not limited to Blackjack, Roulette, and Carnival Games in accordance with Prairie Flower Casino’s Policies and Procedures while exhibiting a high level of guest service.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide accurate and efficient dealing skills at assigned Table Games.
  • Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a high level of game protection is consistently maintained and all regulatory rules are followed.
  • Maintain a high level of guest service and internal service standards.
  • Ensure the integrity, safety and cleanliness of the property and assets.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Attend all required training and meetings including any position related training deemed necessary by department or company leadership.
  • Must be able to work the required work schedule and be flexible to change shifts as needed.  This may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work physically onsite to interact personally with team members, guests and others.
  • Ensure all safety standards are met, and possible safety hazards are quickly resolved.

  • Work as a Floor Supervisor when staffing levels or business demands require with the following additional responsibilities:
  1. Correct procedural and monetary errors, monitor the condition of gaming equipment, and report any anomalies to the manager in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure departmental and company policies and procedures are being followed.
  3. Ensure compliance with Title 31 and the Bank Secrecy Act. 
  4. Verify and maintain table inventories.
  5. Monitor problems, changes and concerns in a timely manner.
  6. Supervise and coach dealers to meet goals while maintaining a high level of guest service and internal service standards. 
  7. Resolve and/or report Guest complaints in a timely and positive manner. 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES 

  • High School Diploma is preferred. 
  • Must have either previously worked as a Table Games Dealer or successfully complete a company provided Dealer School Training course.
  • Ability to showcase dealer skills and pass the required Dealer skills audition.
  • Must possess the ability to accurately differentiate Cheque colors and appropriate values.
  • Must possess the necessary dexterity skills to deal a variety of Table Games.
  • Excellent Guest Service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.  
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit.  
  • Consistently required to reach with hands and arms and use hands to grasp, handle and feel objects such as cards, dice, chips, and currency.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to distinguish colors accurately.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, increasing to loud when on the casino floor.
  • This casino has an enclosed gaming area where smoking is allowed.  Team members may be exposed to a smoking environment in or around this designated smoking area.
