JOB SUMMARY:
Overall Summary of Function The Assistant General Manager will collaborate with the General Manager to plan and oversee the daily business operations. This role is responsible for the direct oversight of all aspects of the business in accordance with Company objectives, including the maximization of financial performance, operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and employee knowledge and development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: At Minimum Duties & Responsibilities
● Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to Company Core Values and Mission Statement
● Possesses complete knowledge of Blueprint Studios’ internal operations and the provided products and services
● Maintains, at all times, a full understanding of our comprehensive inventory and pricing
● Maintains standards by conducting continuous evaluations and investigations of our internal operations in regards to efficiency, productivity and quality control
● Creates an operating environment that values and ensures consistent client satisfaction in accordance with Company standards
● Prepares financial reports for executive management that clearly identify sales and operational effectiveness, trends and variances
● Responsible for the creation and enforcement of internal workflows and processes that will ultimately drive the company to improve productivities, quality, and company standards
● Ensures implementation of appropriate technology solutions to increase customer service and internal operations
● Partners with human resources to recruit, train, develop, and retain various talent
● Ensures safety practices are encouraged and upheld with relation to city, county, state and federal laws and compliances
● Involvement within industry related professional organizations is highly encouraged ● Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: At Minimum Training, Education & Experience
● Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in the hospitality industry
● Direct experience in the fields of event planning and production, catering, hotel sales, and/or event agency services
● A proven track record of reaching and exceeding company sales and operations targets and objectives
● Exceptional leadership skills with strong experience in successfully managing, coaching and developing a team of professionals
● Possesses exemplary communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work Environment/ Physical Demands
