Position Details
Housekeeper – Hospital Setting
Position Overview:
Join our dedicated environmental services team and help us create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, residents, visitors, and staff. As a Housekeeper, you will play an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning duties in assigned areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and offices.

Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.

Clean and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and fixtures to meet hospital hygiene standards.

Safely operate housekeeping equipment and report any repair needs.

Assist with basic maintenance tasks as assigned.

Collaborate with team members and interact courteously with patients, residents, and visitors.
What You Offer
- High school diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to learn how to operate cleaning care equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
- Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and team-player mentality.
- Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Work Schedule
- 80 hours per biweekly pay period.
- Monday - Friday; 7:30p-4:00a
- Includes every 4th weekend and 2 holidays per year.
