Job Summary

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across community common areas, facilities, and amenities. This role requires a dependable and self-motivated individual who can troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service to residents and property staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and general repairs on property facilities, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Assist in maintaining community amenities such as pools, fitness centers, and recreational areas, ensuring all are clean, safe, and operational.
• Monitor and report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or property damage.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.
• Support the community management team in special projects or property improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and property regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or a related field required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs independently.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Pool maintenance experience and/or CPO certification preferred but not required.
   

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends, holidays or after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus benefits package.
