Job Description
You will be the Operations Analyst for our team. Our team is responsible for aligning the organization's resources with its long-term business goals through strategic resourcing, a high-level function that involves forward-thinking analysis to maximize overall value, mitigate risk, and drive innovation.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing procurement costs, developing cost-reduction strategies, and assessing the full lifecycle costs of goods and services, as well as conducting thorough market analysis to identify potential vendors, assess market trends, and understand the competitive landscape. Your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing procurement costs and developing cost-reduction strategies to maximize overall value.
Conducting thorough market analysis to identify potential vendors, assess market trends, and understand the competitive landscape.
Interpreting large datasets related to spending, supplier performance, and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
Understanding financial models and budget management to forecast costs and align sourcing strategies with financial objectives.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive innovation and mitigate risk through strategic resourcing initiatives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications
Risk management: Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating supply chain risks, such as financial, operational, and regulatory issues.
Project management: Applying project management concepts to oversee sourcing initiatives from planning to execution.
Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities to continuously improve sourcing procedures, supplier performance, and overall efficiency.
Desired skills
Conducting market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and potential suppliers.
Developing and implementing category-specific sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
Working with internal departments to understand their needs and develop effective sourcing plans.
Creating cost estimates and forecasts based on market trends and spend analysis.
Implementation and monitoring
Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
Mitigating risks associated with the supply chain, such as quality issues or delivery problems.
Facilitating cross-functional teams to drive sourcing projects and ensure seamless execution.
Staying current with industry trends and technology to improve sourcing strategies.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
