Job Description
As the Software Engineer Senior your responsibilities will span the technology development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design and implementation, and integration and flight test. These responsibilities may also span the avionics services, to include ground station development as well as mission systems software technologies. Integration activities will include a multitude of host systems, such as live assets of varying capability and structure, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• UCI/OMS strong understanding of standards
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or other Engineering/Science related discipline OR equivalent experience/combined education
Desired skills
• Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
• DevSecOps Experience (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Test Driven Development and automated software testing (e.g. Test Complete, Silk Test, Cucumber, Selenium)
• Experience with XML, SQL, database and scripting languages (e.g. Python)
• Experience with UCI and OMS Standards
• Atlassian Tools (e.g. Stash, Jira, Confluence)
• Experience with integrated development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Eclipse)
• Configuration Management Systems (e.g. Git)

• Knowledge of CMSB functionality

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
