Job Summary

The Community School Site Coordinator oversees the implementation of the community school program strategies at the site level by conducting comprehensive needs assessments, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, developing and implementing plans to enhance academic outcomes and services to students and families. The Community School Site Coordinator initiates and sustains programs aligned with the strategic plan, optimally utilizing community resources to address critical needs and promote long-term solutions. Ultimately, their work aims to improve academic achievement, transform schools, and remove barriers to learning for all students.

Required Documents

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: -Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent transferable units -Three (3) years of experience working in non-profit, educational, or community-organizing or support organizations Desirable Qualifications: -Experience working in a school district -Experience managing community partnerships or programs -Bachelor’s degree in a related field ALL EMPLOYMENT HISTORY FIELDS MUST BE COMPLETED. NOTE: - Salary Placement: External candidates cannot place past step D. Internal candidates will be placed based on CSEA Article VIII (8) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. - Benefits: This position includes a full benefit package of Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees and eligible dependents. - Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch) ALL EMPLOYMENT HISTORY FIELDS MUST BE COMPLETED.
