We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our growing organization and serve as a trusted advisor across our business lines in Mason and Hamilton. Compensation
Salary starting at $55,000/year, based on professional experience.

- Supports leadership with employee relations. Works closely with leaders as they conduct disciplinary processes to ensure a fair, consistent process is followed.
- Conducts HR onboarding for new hires with assigned work locations
- Answers HR related questions within the assigned work locations to include policy interpretation, benefit enrollment, log in support for payroll system and training system.
- Serves as the primary administrator of employee leave of absence management within assigned work locations.
- Assists with workplace accidents within assigned work locations including conducting accident interviews within 24 hours of the incident and coordinating medical treatment/return to work if necessary.
- Assists with unemployment responses within assigned work locations, including participating in hearings and coordinating the calls.
- Conducts investigations as appropriate and assists other HR staff when needed.
- Stays current with all regulatory body employment and file requirements to ensure regulations are properly administered within HR practices.
- Provides general support to the Sr. Director of Human Resources and Employee Engagement and Training Manager as needed.
- May need to assist with recruitment efforts in the absence of a recruiter or during a surge of recruitment needs.
- Supports recruitment efforts coordinating interviews with recruiters and hiring managers within the facilities.
- Post offer, conducts fingerprinting and maintains fingerprint log within assigned work locations. Tracks results status and outcomes and escalates stalled screens and questionable outcomes as appropriate to the HR/Recruitment Coordinator.
- Responsible for reviewing new hire paperwork for completeness during employee onboarding then submits appropriate paperwork to HR/Recruitment Coordinator for employee files.
- Responsible to follow-up with leadership to acquire any missing employment documentation
- Completes I-9 form verification including E-Verify data submission within the required timeframe.

- All other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position.
Education: High School diploma or GED, Bachelors degree is preferred.
Licenses or other required certifications: PHR or SHRM certification preferred
Experience: At least 2 years previous experience working in an HR Generalist or Coordinator capacity.
Specialized knowledge, skills, or abilities:
- Employee must be depended upon for their confidentiality and discretion as they will have access/exposure to information and data that is sensitive in nature.
- Must be well versed in company policies and makes appropriate judgment calls within the scope of the position and escalates problems or concerns timely.
- Proficient with computers and possessing a high degree of comfort and familiarity working in HRMS systems and reporting tools.
- Treats all employees and customers with respect demonstrating a high degree of customer service.
- Ability to multi-task and flexibility to work as part of a team.
- Must be organized and detail oriented. Must have the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
