Senior Sales Manager

 

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Senior Sales Manager. In this role, you will solicit, develop, and maintain accounts in assigned market segments through direct sales efforts, while ensuring that budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded.  

 

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the guest experience by building partnerships that bring exceptional events, meetings, and group stays to the resort, ensuring every guest interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality.

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize group bookings and revenue.
  • Own and manage an assigned territory and/or verticals with measurable performance goals.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a results-oriented sales team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with conference services and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Work on-site, engaging with clients and stakeholders from pre-opening through ongoing operations.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • 3+ years of hotel sales experience at a 500+ room hotel or a hotel attached to a convention center with 80,000+ sq. ft. of meeting space.
  • Proven ability to develop, negotiate, and close high-value group business.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Deep understanding of the meetings and conventions market in Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to think independently, problem-solve, and deliver creative solutions to meet client needs.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or Finance is preferred.
  • Hotel pre-opening sales experience is preferred.
