We're hiring a Mobile Trailer Service Technician who thrives on solving new challenges every day by:
- Performing light mechanical work and routine maintenance on trucks and trailers.
- Checking batteries and change oil to ensure the proper functioning of vehicles.
- Washing and cleaning the interior and exterior of trucks and trailers.
- Inspecting brake systems, wheel bearings, and steering mechanisms of trucks.
- Assisting with refurbishing trucks and trailers.
- Repairing, updating, and restoring interior and exterior mobile medical imaging unit finishes.
- Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical devices according to company guidelines.
- Providing training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Responding to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in person.
- Testing equipment functionality and performs preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Delivering and retrieving trucks-trailers from customer and service locations.
- Securing medical imaging equipment appropriately prior to transport of medical units.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in carpentry, truck, trailer maintenance.
- An understanding of trailer mechanical systems, electrical systems, and structural components.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- CDL Class A (or obtains license within 90 days of employment).
- A pleasant and professional demeanor
- Proven experience with effectively managing multiple priorities while maintaining composure under deadline pressure.
- The ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively.
- Must be willing and flexible to travel as the business needs demand.
