Clerical Support 1 will perform entry level general office functions to support divisions, departments and/or areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Receive and direct telephone calls and relay messages. Maintain files, records and logs. Perform keyboarding and make copies as needed. Sort documents, forms, mail, etc., in numerical and alphabetical order. Provide information for requesting
parties. Develop and maintain working relationship with customers. Enter and retrieve data utilizing computer equipment. Make deliveries to areas, Division properties, and/or outside agencies as needed. Operate Division vehicle and various office equipment. Perform other duties as directed.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

A valid driver's license from state of residence is required.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Must have successfully completed Placement/Performance Exercises. Must have a familiarity with computer keyboard. Oral communication skills to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly. Written Expression skills for proper use of grammar and punctuation; ability to follow oral/written procedures and instructions; skills in the application of basic mathematical computation; ability to resolve routine problems; and ability to demonstrate customer focused behaviors in daily business activities. Physical Demands: Office majority of time. Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 20 pounds or more of force on a regular basis.
