Opportunity

PRCS is seeking passionate and hardworking Part-Time Compliance Health Officer to join the PRCS family for the 2025-26 School Year. The person will be apart of the Support Services team and ensure the school’s adherence to all local, state, and federal health regulations. The Compliance Health Officer will support with the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety protocols to maintain a safe learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. The person in this position will occasionally support student nursing needs, including assisting with basic health-related tasks and collaborating with school nursing staff to ensure student well-being. This is a part-time position with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday and will not exceed more than 10 hours per week.



Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health-related policies, including immunization records and communicable disease reporting;
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and public health agencies;
  • Conduct regular audits of health documentation and safety procedures;
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health compliance requirements;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of emergency health response plans;
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with the school nurse(s) and administrative staff to ensure timely communication of health updates.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field;
  • Hold a valid NJ School Nurse Certification/License;
  • Experience in a school or healthcare setting strongly preferred;
  • Knowledge of state and federal health regulations;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
