Job Summary

The Director, Technical Program Management will be the key member of ZOLL Business Applications team. The Director, Technical Program Management leads successful, global, sophisticated implementations of solutions through a robust understanding of Cloud network architecture, excellent project management skills, and effective communication skills (written and verbal). Director, Technical Program Management will work to make sure projects are executed on time and on budget while fostering trusting relationships with the Application team and other business stakeholders.

Essential Functions
  • Work with various teams to deliver OCI infrastructure projects which improve technical processes, technology, and development at ZOLL ACT Division.
  • Work directly with Corporate IT and third parties to address all technical issues related to operating PaaS and integrations. This includes networking, infrastructure, security, and resource management
  • Responsible for planning, execution, completion, and measurement of IT Business Application projects.
  • Coordinate, direct, and oversee work performed by the team, conduct performance reviews.
  • Takes a project from original concept through final implementation and project closure.
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including end-users, infrastructure services, architecture, and application team members.
  • Accountable for defining and managing the overall project scope for the life of the project.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project budgets, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for all tracking and project risk analysis.
  • Coordinates the integration of vendor tasks and reviews vendor deliverables in collaboration with project stakeholders. Leverages internal and external experts to provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
  • Effectively drive meetings with all stakeholders to provide actionable results.
  • Identify, track, and mitigates project issues and risks. Able to escalate issues and resolution plans quickly and effectively.
  • Effectively forecast project-level resources.
  • Manage project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting of project completion dates.
  • Collaborates successfully across both internal and external resources.
  • Provides weekly project status updates and coordinates regular steering committee meetings with Sr. Applications Director and key stakeholders (as needed)
  • Reports key metrics on application services operational and systems activity.
  • Monitor production support and enhancement requests, prioritize, assign development resources and track progress

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management required
  • 12+ of experience as a Business Applications project/program leader or another technical environment required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Passionate facilitation and elicitation skills required
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Creative and analytical thinking
  • Proficient with project management tools.
  • Experience working in a multi-org, multi-site environment.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple activities and projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and training skills

The annual salary for this position is:

$175,000.00 to $195,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
