HN356 - Newborn Care Specialist - Flatiron District, Manhattan na British American Household Staffing

A lovely couple expecting their first baby June 29, 2026 are seeking a loving Newborn Care Specialist to gently and pro-actively guide them through the first 8 weeks or so after birth. There is a possibility the contract could extend later into September. For the months of August & Septemeber they will be in Nantucket so the role will be in NYC at first and then in Nantucket. They really want an experienced and loving NCS with impeccable references and proven track record of gently and lovingly helping first time parents. There are no pets in the home.

• All newborn baby care while being mindful that the parents want to be actively involved; this new baby is their joy and they are first-time parents
• Educating and supporting the parents in a very positive way on infant care
• Helping the parents to catch up on sleep/recovery overnights and being fully available to the baby overnights
• The NCS will have their own bedroom and en-suite bathroom and the baby’s nursery will be next to NCS’ room. There will be a preference given to NCS of what they desire if they wish for the baby to be in their room overnight or to keep two separate rooms overnight

• Embodying a pleasant personality, not overbearing or loud or harsh in tones or judgment 
• Unequivocally reliable
• Available for 8 weeks starting on or around June 29, 2026
• Available to potentially extend the contract through September

• $700-1200/day for 20 hours a day and 7 days a week
