Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Environment Health and Safety Engineer Intern. In this role, you will:
1) Support Artificial Intelligence (AI) efforts within the Environment, Safety and Health organization.
2) Streamline, digitize and load data in databases within the Environment, Safety and Health organization.
3) Help architect common system integration b/w Oracle, SAP/ERP systems.
4) Mentee with ESH employees for Satellite Operation familiarity at the Waterton Facility
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of:
- Knowledge of computer databases and applications and familiar with SQL coding.
- Possess experience and knowledge in OSHA and EPA Chemical Regulations.
- Knowledge of chemical hazards

Basic Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in Bachelor's degree program from accredited college/university in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related.
- Knowledge of OSHA and/or EPA regulations
- Knowledge/Experience in Environmental Health and Safety subject areas
- Must be a US Citizen
- Knowledge of OSHA and/or EPA regulations

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $58,552 - $77,788. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
