| Position Summary | Position Summary: A Writing Center Consultant coaches writers on their writing processes and their works in progress and develops a variety of strategies for supporting writers. They continue learning about best practices in tutoring writing via study of Writing Center scholarship. They work with faculty, tutoring supervisors, and their fellow tutors. Other duties include but are not limited to maintaining a welcoming Writing Center environment and filling out report forms for tutoring appointments. |

| Preferred Qualifications | Qualifications: Minimum qualifications: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and
completion of at least English 1110, 1110Z or 1120 with a grade of B or higher or the
