RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Copywriter to join for an approximate 6-month project, with potential to extend!
This is a fully on-site position, Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week. To be considered, candidates must be located near Santa Monica, California, and willing to commute to the office 5 days per week.
We are seeking a contract Copywriter to help concept and craft compelling co-branded marketing campaigns. This role involves working on integrated projects from pitch through execution, developing copy that connects partner brands with entertainment content in original and engaging ways.
You will work closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to bring ideas to life across multiple platforms. The right candidate is both a strong storyteller and a strategic thinker who can balance creativity with clear communication.
As a Copywriter, You Will
- Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, producers, and marketing leads to develop content that is audience-focused and aligned with brand goals
- Write across a variety of formats, including video scripts, website content, pitch presentations, and digital campaign assets
- Develop messaging that supports co-branded marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Present creative concepts and copy ideas to internal teams, clients, and agency partners
- Manage multiple projects at once, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards for writing and storytelling
- Work within brand guidelines and creative constraints, especially when collaborating on content involving intellectual property
- Support documentation and process development to improve creative workflows and writing standards
As an Applicant, You Bring
- At least 6 years of professional copywriting experience in advertising, brand marketing, or entertainment
- A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong storytelling skills across video, digital, and multi-platform formats
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a sharp eye for tone, clarity, and consistency
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing feedback from multiple stakeholders
- The ability to handle fast-paced work environments and deliver high-quality copy on tight deadlines
- A strategic mindset and the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and campaign goals

Compensation
Pay Range: $55.00 - $63.00 (Hourly)
The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
