The Position: Experienced educators are hired as “Certificated Contract Consultants” to teach graduate-level teacher preparation coursework aligned with the California Accredited Program Standards and the Teacher Performance Expectations (TPEs) to District Intern or Pre-intern candidates. Instructors work with Pre-Service and/or District Intern candidates who are working toward earning preliminary teaching credentials through LACOE’s District Intern Program in the evening, while employed as the teacher of record.

The applicant must have at least five years of teaching experience (on a valid Clear Credential) with recommendations/references. Applicants must possess one of the credentials/authorizations below in order to be eligible for the position; specialists/TOSA, and experience teaching adults is highly preferred: *.
