Mid-Level Site Supplier Quality Specialist

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Site Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team located in in Berkeley, MO

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans and conduct audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
  • Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
  • Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
  • Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
  • Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
  • Resolves routine issues and concerns.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 + year of Experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
  • 1 + year of Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and failure analysis
  • 1 + year of Experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
  • 1 + year of Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
  • 1 + year of Experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
  • 1 + year of Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • Currently possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
  • 1+ years of experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and failure analysis
  • 1+ years of experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
  • Aerospace Industry Experience
  • Experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership
  • Experience with regulatory requirements

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
