Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer (Level 4) to join our Fabrication Quality Team located in Auburn, Washington.

The Quality Engineer will work with the Boeing Quality Engineering team and report to a first-line manager. They will support Advanced Product Quality Production (APQP) verification and acceptance activity. To be successful in this role you must be enthusiastic, proactive and self-directed to help oversee and assist in the day-to-day operational support. Position Responsibilities:

• Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation

• Provides Quality interpretation of complex requirements

• Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements

• Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities.

• Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs

• Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness

• Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances

• Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions

• Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved

• Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering

• 5+ years of experience with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100)

• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience performing product inspection

• 1+ years of experience in Quality Inspection including FAI (First Article Inspection)

Summary pay range: $116,450-$157,550
