Infrastructure and Energy Capital invests Macquarie’s balance sheet to provide flexible capital in the infrastructure and energy space, with a broad mandate to invest in assets and companies across Economic & Social (e.g. public-private partnerships or private projects), Digital & Data (e.g. fibre & datacentres) and Energy Transition (e.g. batteries, renewables, power, EV charging, gas) infrastructure sectors. The team is looking for high calibre interns from a range of disciplines who possess a strong interest in financial services, knowledge of current market activity and the desire to work on challenging projects to join the team for 6 months from April 2026.At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.What role will you play?As an Off-Cycle Intern, you will experience first-hand how we invest and support our partners realise opportunity as part of our Macquarie Capital team. You will sit side by side experienced colleagues who will support you as you learn and build new skills, whilst completing key tasks including assisting in analysing potential investments opportunities, financial modelling, approval papers, internal and external presentations, market analysis, value creation on existing investments and due diligence support.
