Responsibilities:
General Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify and address potential issues.
Repair and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and repair issues reported by tenants, including leaks, faulty wiring, and malfunctioning appliances.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Groundskeeping:
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the property's exterior areas.
- Perform landscaping tasks and snow removal as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Report safety hazards and participate in regular safety training sessions.
Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Provide detailed documentation for completed work orders.
Tenant Interaction:
- Communicate with tenants regarding maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the maintenance supervisor and other team members to ensure efficient property operations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience in property maintenance, with proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
