Summary:
As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day to day operations across all departments, Sales, Finance, Service, and Parts. You’ll help build a high performing culture, guide your team to success, and execute smart strategies that produce measurable growth. Essential Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective processes
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are consistently delivered through process improvement and monitoring
  • Review and manage expense structure to maximize profitability
  • Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders such as manufacturer
  • Increases management's effectiveness by selecting, hiring, training, developing, and motivating employees; clearly and decisively communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance; developing incentives; understands how to motivate staff and to develop to their full potential.
  • Meets individually with team members to discuss progress of work, resolve problems, and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met; facilitates meetings and reporting with service team.
  • Enforces ethical business practices; establishes service policies, best practices and procedures with the various departments; reinforces company image and brand by collaborating with sales and customer service; tracks cases in CRM to monitor expedited client service resolution.
  • Identifies and develops strategic plans to improve, enhance and/or scale operational systems when required, including expansion of facilities and technical infrastructure, presenting recommendations and executing approved initiatives.
  • Grow the business and increase market share
  • Build and motivate a highly effective team through recruiting, training and coaching
  • Develop effective marketing plans for sales and fixed operations 
  • Evaluate and manage inventories to optimize supply and investment
  • Implement strategic plans and initiatives, analyze information and take corrective action as necessary

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • NADA Salesperson Certification
  • State Sales License
  • Valid Driver's License

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stretch, kneel, stoop, reach, handle, twist, turn, talk and hear.  The employee may occasionally sit, crawl, climb or balance.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
