The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Tool Coordinator to join the 737 Tool Services team located in Renton, WA.
Successful candidates can assess manufacturing requirements and verify customer requests, coordinate with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues and works with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards. As a Tool Coordinator you will provides guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts, participate in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state of the art cost-effective products and gathers manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements. In this role you will also ivestigates changes in manufacturing requirements and support emergent requests, analyze and oversees procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services and work under limited supervision.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate and procure production tools and flyaway and non-flyaway consumables equipment to support manufacturing
Manage certified tools and tool-room processes, including ordering, replacement, inventory control, and re-certification
Liaise with customers and suppliers to optimize manufacturing support and supply chain responsiveness
Analyze usage and forecast demand
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience Assessing manufacturing requirements and verifying customer requests
3+ years of experience coordinating with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues
3+ years of experience providing guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts
3+ years of gathering manufacturing and product data to develop and recommend solutions for requirements
3+ years of analyzing, procuring, and overseeing procurement processes for manufacturing tools, services, and products
3+ years of experience with procurement and inventory management systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experienced in certified-tool management and tool-room operations, including inventory control and recertification
Collaborative problem-solver with a track record of partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, and suppliers to resolve issues

Summary Pay Range: $82,000 – 88,000
