Salary:
The minimum starting pay is $30,300*/year and the maximum salary is $61,199*/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience.

*The salary range for this position includes a 20% differential and is based on a 0.5FTE. Salary is prorated based on start date. Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Nursing from accredited college or university, preferred
- Colorado licensed Registered Nurse preferred; LPN will be considered
- Must qualify for adjunct Nursing faculty at Pikes Peak Community College (12 months nursing experience caring for the elderly or chronically-ill of any age, experience or training in teaching adults OR 12 months managing Nursing Assistants)
- Vocational CTE license endorsed in Health Sciences or proof of eligibility (see attached worksheet for qualifications)

Expectations for Performance - Students will take courses on campus facilitated by the blended teacher
- Providing regular education and RtI-related services such as consultation, affective education and participation on Student Support Teams
- Collaborative consultation with school personnel
- Collaboration with the online teaching and administrative staff to establish enrichment programs to help foster the blended model of education
- Active participation in staff development, including cross-disciplinary teaching
- Participation on the Student Support Team
- Comprehend the curriculum in ins entirety for assigned grade levels
- Demonstrate knowledge of the state standards and how both align with the online curriculum provider
- Understand overall diversity of assigned families and individual characteristics of students/parents; specifically how this impacts support needed
- Utilizes asynchronous and synchronous tools to augment course content according to prescribed policies and procedures set by the district
- Orients students to course and communicates course requirements
- Maintains regular office hours and conducts instructional sessions
- Sets and enforces deadlines for student work
- Supports parents with student curricular and instructional issues
- Responsible for student academic progress and attendance
- Balance flexibility of the online curriculum with Falcon Virtual Academy's policies and procedures
