Job Title: Residential Coordinator Assistant
Location: Quincy, IL
Department: Residential Services – SUD
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday – Friday
Pay Range: $16.49 – $23.09 per hour
Job Summary:
Are you a compassionate and organized professional passionate about supporting individuals in recovery? Join Clarity Healthcare as a Residential Coordinator Assistant and help foster a safe, therapeutic environment for clients in our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) residential program.
In this role, you’ll support the Clinical Team by supervising client activities, assisting with treatment procedures, and contributing to staff training and program compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily client activities and ensure adherence to program rules
Conduct client orientation, including rights and responsibilities
Support medication administration in collaboration with Behavioral Health Technicians
Document client behaviors and treatment progress
Monitor detoxification clients for safety and recovery needs
Provide transportation for clients as needed
Participate in hiring, training, and supervision of Behavioral Health Technicians
Facilitate staff meetings and assist with scheduling and shift coverage
Prepare or support group curricula and educational materials
Respond to crisis situations using behavioral interventions
Ensure documentation meets State Regulatory and CARF standards
Lead or support educational and recreational groups
Complete mandatory training and continuing education requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Illinois-Specific Responsibilities (Second Shift):
Assist in hiring Behavioral Health Technicians
Provide supervised clinical services including screening, assessment, treatment planning, case management, referrals, and discharge planning
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, or related field; OR
High School Diploma or GED with at least two (2) years of relevant employment history
One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
For Illinois second shift: Three (3) years of experience required
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part II confidentiality laws
Ability to build rapport with clients
Skilled in verbal de-escalation and crisis response
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Leadership and team collaboration abilities
Effective verbal and written communication
Ability to contribute to curriculum development and group facilitation
Employment Requirements:
Successful completion of background checks (criminal, driving record, abuse/neglect, fingerprint)
Completion of New Hire Orientation and ongoing training (including Relias)
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
