University Physicians' Association is hiring a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our dedicated providers at University Colon & Rectal Surgeons. If you're passionate about patient care and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our care team, you’ll work side-by-side with physicians to ensure a smooth and supportive experience for every patient. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with patient exams and procedures
- Coordinating appointments and prior authorizations
- Handling pre-certifications for imaging (MRI, CT)
- Communicating test results
- Performing phlebotomy
- Supporting wound and ostomy care (preferred)
- Maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, and staff

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse
- 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- A team player who puts patients first
