Job overview and responsibilities
The Sr Analyst – Cybersecurity Workforce Strategy & Readiness is responsible for advancing the organization’s cybersecurity capability by developing, managing, and optimizing workforce programs that strengthen digital risk resilience and operational readiness. This role drives initiatives that ensure cybersecurity professionals are equipped with the right skills, tools, and pathways to defend against evolving threats and enable secure business operations.
The ideal candidate has experience in cybersecurity talent strategy, technical workforce development, and can partner across HR, cybersecurity leadership, and external organizations to enable a competent, capable, and upskilled cybersecurity workforce.
- Manage and maintain the cybersecurity rotational program, providing structured career pathways, and workforce education opportunities
- Support cybersecurity workforce strategy initiatives that align to the organization’s objectives
- Support a strong, mission-driven cybersecurity culture emphasizing accountability and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with HR and security leadership to define career progression frameworks and align cybersecurity job families with industry standards
- Facilitate cybersecurity learning opportunities, mentorship, upskilling, etc. that support both early-career professionals and experienced employees looking to grow
- Establish relationships with external partners such as universities, training programs, and industry groups to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline
- Develop and drive cybersecurity-specific employee engagement programs, including networking opportunities, internal security champions, and team-building initiatives
Candidatar-se agoraWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree IN Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Talent Development, HR, or relevant field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to perform in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong program management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with groups such as HR, recruitment, and cybersecurity leadership
- Proven ability to develop career pathways, mentorship programs, and/or employee engagement initiatives
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (i.e., NICE cybersecurity workforce framework; NIST), basic security tools, or cybersecurity operations/planning.
- Willingness to learn from others and self-teach to continuously grow
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
