Corporate Actions Analyst
The Role
The Associate Corporate Actions Analyst is responsible for researching and validating corporate action data in efforts to provide timely, accurate and comprehensive securities processing information to our business partners. The associate will ensure that all daily deliverables are met, raise volume trends, work collaboratively with team members to identify operational improvements, and reduce risk. They will provide support to our business partners to resolve data or system issues. Additionally, the analyst will mentor and knowledge share with other team members, have increased responsibility processing more complex event types and establish more of a presence in our business partner relationship.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
College degree in business or finance
2 - 4 years of financial services work experience preferred
Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Self-starter and comfortable working independently when needed
Strong analytical skills, can identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance customer experience
Possess a strong attention to detail, following procedures & controls to ensure accurate and timely work
Able to identify risk and raise accordingly
Ability to multi-task and respond quickly
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
The Team
Fidelity Corporate Actions Solutions (FCAS) is a business unit within Fidelity Funds and Investment Operations. Our group offers securities processing software, including end to end workflow notification and response. We receive market data from multiple suppliers which is processed through our patented software to ensure that the highest quality information is released to our business partners. As part of the FCAS Operations team your efforts directly impact front office trading and back office posting to accounts.
The base salary range for this position is $48,000-91,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
