Title: Electrician

Location:  Roberta, GA

Base Pay Range: $31.00 - $46.00 / hour

Schedule: 5-8's


Focus:  The Electrician will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and related components for industrial machinery and equipment. Daily duties involve reading and interpreting work orders, technical descriptions and safety manuals -- including NEC and ANSI -- and reading and following electrical code, manuals, schematics and circuit prints. This role may also support process technician and logistics job duties when needed and/or any other tasks deemed necessary by site leadership to support ongoing plant operations.   

Job activities may involve working near low voltage, mobile equipment, moving and rotating equipment, various gases, hazardous chemical, and congested areas.


Essential Job Functions:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Electrician work experience and demonstrated proficiency as an Electrician (Electrical primary craft); manufacturing plant process maintenance setting preferred.
  • Must have experience working with and installing electrical systems that exceed 200 amperes; ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to demonstrate basic computer skills, math and problem-solving; mechanical, numerical and verbal aptitude to learn our jobs quickly.
  • Experience with various electrical tools and equipment, and a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Requires working knowledge/understanding of electrical schematics, 1-line diagrams, P&IDs, loop sheets, and/or operating manuals and the ability to complete as-builds.
  • Ability to define problems and draw conclusions in challenging technical situations up to and including pulling drawings, utilizing electronic document systems, and consulting vendor manuals.
  • Ability to diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults.
  • Must be able to work call-ins and overtime when support is needed.
  • Able to pass a functional physical testing and able to use standard safety equipment; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; able to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights; able to work in tight or closed-in spaces and participate on the plant emergency response team.
