As our Business Support Officer (Commercial),you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of TrinityHouse’s commercial services, which include Marine Aids to Navigation contracts and tourismoperations at our visitor centres and holiday cottages. Workingas part of a small and dynamic team you will help ensure these activities runsmoothly and efficiently, contributing to the generation of commercial incomein support of the General Lighthouse Fund.
You’ll be a strong organiser with excellent attention to detail, providingessential business and administrative support across a wide range of functions.From assisting with commercial contracts for buoy and maintenance services, tosupporting the coordination and promotion of lighthouse visitor centres, no twodays will be the same. You’ll also work closely with internal departments andexternal partners, demonstrating excellent communication skills and aproactive, solution-focused approach.
We’d love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Level 2 qualifications in relevant functional skills
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in handling financial data
- An element of creativity and initiative in problem-solving
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A full driving licence is desirable due to occasional travel to our sites (flexible and pre-planned)
